Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.

Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."


Wow! My Dog mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.

Rachel took Toto immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

Rachel described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The wounds were so severe they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

In addition to the damning more info Yelp reviews, Wow! My Dog wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
